It is currently 18:32 Pacific Time on Tue Dec 23 2003.

Currently the moon is in the waxing No Moon phase (1% full).

Joshua sits inside the Parlor at one of the big chairs, humming quietly as he
flips through a book he found on the shelves that struck his fancy. He's
finally cleaned up, in a, gasp, clean pair of sweats and a clean T-shirt.

Salem comes in from puttering around outside -- walking the grounds, mostly,
and checking the currently-dorment gardens -- and, after ridding himself
of outer layers and hanging such in the front hall closet, heads into the
      parlor.

Joshua looks up from his book as Salem heads into the room. Setting it in his
lap, he gazes at the Crazy mute for a moment. "'vening Mister Salem." He
      says, slightly upbeat.

Salem seems vaguely distracted, but nods to the cub in a 'hello, as you were'
kind of way as he heads for his usual armchair. He pauses before sitting
down, giving the room a rather suspicious look-over, then grimaces,
shrugs, and settles into the chair.

Joshua turns his head back down, reading the book a moment more, before closing
it and setting it in his lap. "'was think'n about what you said, about
all the 'arou tribes. 'n I was wondering if you knew anyone who knew them
all, n' could," he shrugs slightly, a small gesture almost lost in the
big chair. "tell me about them 'n stuff."

After tapping in the code on the gate, Jeremy plus one, makes their way through
the front doors. The pair are talking about the movie they just came back
from, having decided to catch the Return of the King, seeing both had a
      few hours to kill.

Salem's mouth thins a bit at Joshua's question. Then, hearing Jeremy and Aubrey
come in -- and he arches an eyebrow at seeing them together after, it
seems, a movie viewing -- he nods to the cub and gets up again, moving
out into the front hall in order to greet the new arrivals.

Joshua isn't one to question the ways of the Crazy Mute, so he shrugs again,
and opens back up his book, starting to hum the same song he was humming
      when Salem walked in.

Aubrey looks away from Jeremy as she hears Salem's footsteps coming down the
hall. The Fianna flickers her chestnut tress away from her shoulders as
she smiles softly towards the Glass Walker elder. "Good evening," she
      says.

Pausing once Salem comes into view of the door, Jeremy offers up a smile.
"Evening Salem." He says, polietly bobbing his head in a bow like gesture
      to him.

Joshua's head cranes, as he hears the voices in the front hall. Unable to see,
he looks back to his book. Humming some catchy upbeat song? No, actually,
it's some Rage Against the Machine.

Salem considers the couple, his expression vaguely wry, then crooks a finger at
them and moves back into the parlor.

Aubrey gives a faint hrm like sound but says nothing at all to Salem's
retreating back. The Fianna simply arcs her brow and watches him show
      them back into the parlor.

Glancing to Aubrey for a moment, Jeremy offers a shrug of his own, then heads
into the parlor after the Half Moon.

Joshua look up from the book once more, smiling slightly as he sees Jeremy
enter. "'vening, Mister Jeremy 'n Miz..." He says, sounding chipper. Josh
frowns then, looking at Aubrey, before adding apologetically, "'m Sorry,
      I forgot your name."

Salem walks over to where the cub's sitting and humming and taps him lightly on
the head. Then he jerks a thumb back over toward the new arrivals. People
who can talk, or _will_ talk, anyway.

"Aubrey," the young woman answers Joshua. Her eyes look to Salem, lightly
tilting her head to the side slightly as she gives him a curious look.

Jeremy slips his hands into his pockets, shifting some of his weight a bit.
"So.." He trails off. "Um... Josh. How's it hanging?"

"Good." Josh replies, looking from Salem to the pair. "I think Mister Salem was
saying that you two know 'bout the tribes n' all?" He crooks a brow,
before adding. "... or maybe he wasn't. 'm not quite sure."

When Joshua suggests that the two know about tribes, Salem makes a thumbs-up
gesture without looking over at them. Then he settles back in his chair
and lifts his eyebrows at them, his expression bland.

Aubrey looks towards Joshua, "The tribes? What do you need to know?" she asks.
Her golden-eyes flicker towards Salem once again for a moment before she
finds a seat and returns her attention back to the Walker cub.

Joshua shrugs, tilting his head. "'s just wondering if maybe you could tell me
about 'em some time, so I don't sound dumb when I talk to Mizz Sig."

Salem laces his fingers together, listening silently; when Aubrey looks his
      way, he nods a bit.

"Well," Aubrey begins. "There are thirteen of them, although the Stargazers
have returned to their homelands. The tribes are: Black Furies, Bone
Gnawers, Chidren of Gaia, Fianna, Get of Fenris, Glass Walkers, Red
Talons, Shadow Lords, Silent Striders, Silver Fangs, Uktena, and Wendigo.
The best way of going about learning about different tribes is to ask
those who belong to the tribe. I am a Fianna, our homeland is in parts of
Ireland and Scotland. We are known for several great things, such as our
      storytelling."

Joshua's brow scrunches, as he tries to catch the entire list. The book is set
down next to the chair, as he looks intently at Aubrey. "Well... if it's
about what your family is, whadda about The Glass Walkers? Miz Rina's
Italian, and 'm family's mostly Irish."

Aubrey looks across to Salem for a brief moment before returning her gaze back
to Joshua. "Not much, I am afraid." she says to the young cub. "I haven't
been around Glass Walkers much." Which means that times are definately
      changing.

Joshua's face drops slightly, both his questions unanswered, while looking for
a moment at Salem. "Oh." Looking back at Jeremy and Aubrey, he tries to
straiten out his face again. "Well, thanks, I guess."

Salem wrinkles his nose, an irritated expression crossing his scarred face. He
shakes his head and gets up, heading out again, and upstairs.

"Hey," Aubrey says slowly towards the Walker cub. "There will be someone around
here who can tell you everything you need to know." She ignores Salem's
irritated expression and crosses her arms across her chest lightly.
