Wharf, Pier Two The creak and sway of the rotting boards are in sync with the gentle slap of water against the pylons. Only the sections of the Pier jutting far into the river have fallen into disrepair. The sections nearest the bank are still is fair condition as some commerce still occurs by way of the river. However, many goods that were once shipped via the waterway are now shipped overland which is cheaper and faster. The wharf stands as testament to an older time, when the River was a lifeline for the city. Beyond the warehouses lining the banks to the west, the black asphalt strip of First Street can be seen. Jeremy pages: Your phone rings Long distance to Jeremy: Salem picks it up after a couple of rings. "Yes?" His voice is cold, emotionless. Jeremy pages: Hey Salem, I just made a shit load of bombs, and well.. I'm going to blow something up. Where ya think is a good place? Long distance to Jeremy: Salem | There's silence on the other end for a moment, as though the idea of blowing things up happened to be absolutely the last thing on Salem's mind and now he has to click his thoughts onto an entirely different track. "...Mnh. How powerful are they?" Jeremy pages: They are powerful enough to blow up cars right now. I can mix a bit more solidox into the pipes I created. Even got tennis ball busters. They can do some pretty good damage when soaked in gasoline." There is a pause as he thinks to himself a bit. "I even created some thermite bombs with Roger awhile ago, got magnesium to light it up. Its pretty bitching, makes a pretty blue flame." Long distance to Jeremy: Salem is quiet again for a second or two; his reply's belated, as if preoccupied about something, not quite focussed on the conversation. "Needs to be out of the city. Last thing we want is to attract attention." Jeremy pages: Well, I'm saving the thermite for something special. I just wanted to toss a few tennis balls to show Quentin." The kin replies subduly. "But, maybe we can take a ride. I dunno. See ya." Long distance to Jeremy: Salem | "Be seeing you," Salem replies automatically, blandly. The connection clicks off.
